Privacy Policy for What's In The Freezer
Last updated: 8 May 2026
What's In The Freezer is a household freezer inventory app. It helps users record freezer items, categories, quantities, dates, barcodes, and optional item photos.
Information stored by the app
The app stores freezer inventory information locally on your device, including item names, barcodes or manual item identifiers, food categories, quantity and portion status, dates added to the freezer, and optional item photos.
This freezer inventory data is stored on your device and is not uploaded to a developer server by the app.
Camera access
The app uses the camera for barcode scanning and optional item photos. Photos are used only to display the item inside your freezer list unless you choose to manage or share them outside the app through your device.
Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertising. Google and its partners may process information from your device for advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and related services. The app uses Google's consent tools where required.
You can manage ad privacy options from inside the app where available.
Data sharing
The developer does not sell your freezer inventory data. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google and its advertising partners through the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Data deletion
Because freezer inventory data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by deleting items in the app, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the app.
Children's privacy
The app is not specifically directed at children.
